Call for Papers: Goettingen Journal of International Law (GoJIL) Conference
The Goettingen Journal of International Law invites emerging scholars and junior faculty to submit papers for its upcoming international conference, "Resources of Conflict – Conflicts over Resources." The Conference will be held on October 7-9, 2010 in Göttingen, Germany.

Panel 2: Resources Before, During and After Conflicts
Panel 3: Resources and Conflict Prevention: Access, Sharing and Regulation
Panel 4: Knowledge as a Resource: Access, Assessment and Legal Consequences
Abstracts should be no more than 500 words. Final papers should not exceed 7,000 words.
Selected participants will be notified by July 1, 2010 and are expected to submit their papers by September 20, 2010.

The Conference will feature two keynote speeches and four panels. ICJ Judge Bruno Simma will be one of the keynote speakers. Papers should address one of the topics of the four panels:Panel 1: Actors of Armed Conflicts and International Law

Panel 3: Resources and Conflict Prevention: Access, Sharing and Regulation
Panel 4: Knowledge as a Resource: Access, Assessment and Legal Consequences
Guidelines
Submissions with interdisciplinary approaches in the fields of international law, international politics and from adjacent disciplines are encouraged. They welcome papers with a theoretical (analytical/normative), as well as an empirical focus. High quality submissions may be considered for publication in a possible special issue of the Goettingen Journal of International Law.Abstracts should be no more than 500 words. Final papers should not exceed 7,000 words.
Registration and Travel Grants
The registration fee will be waived for scholars presenting a paper. Thanks to the sponsors, GoJIL will be able to provide a limited number of travel grants. Details on travel arrangements and accommodation will be provided in the near future on the conference website.Deadline
